Introduction
Family Business Culture (FBC) and Family Values (FV) are two frameworks that always “go hand in hand” and remain “consistent” throughout the family–business relationship. FBC is the set of values, beliefs, norms, and behaviours shared within both the family and the company, with the business at the centre. Meanwhile, FV refers to the core principles of the family, such as loyalty, responsibility, sacrifice, trust in education, or ethics in business placing the “family framework” as the foundation For a family business to shape its cultural identity and family values, it must apply the right strategies and tools with persistence so that they become the foundation that sustains the legacy across generations. Many studies describe culture and values as a living tradition, a spiritual legacy, or even a sacred trust within family businesses.
