Deputy Director
Ms. Le Thi Kim Cu serves as Deputy Director of the FBV Family Business Institute, contributing to the development of strategic initiatives, international partnerships, and educational programs that promote the sustainable growth of Vietnamese family businesses amid global integration.
She is an executive leader, lecturer, and organizational development specialist with more than 20 years of experience in multinational corporations and international educational environments in Vietnam and the United States. With an interdisciplinary background in leadership, organizational management, workforce training, and human resource development, she brings an integrated perspective that combines strategic thinking, human development, and sustainable values for family business governance.
Dr. Kim Cư completed her Doctor of Education (EdD) in Interdisciplinary Leadership at Creighton University in 2025. Her research focused on parental autonomy support in parenting practices and how it helps children continue developing effective decision-making skills during their university years. This stage is especially critical, as college students can represent the next generation of leaders who may inherit the legacy of prior generations. She is also a member of the Alpha Iota Sigma Honor Society and served on the university’s EdD Awards Committee during the 2024–2025 academic year.
Before joining FBV, Dr. Kim Cu held several senior leadership roles at Dentsu Vietnam and within the Dentsu Aegis Network, including Chief Operating Officer (COO), Country Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Executive Officer. Over more than 18 years in executive leadership, she oversaw strategic management, finance, human resources, legal affairs, information technology, operations, and organizational development for multinational business operations in Vietnam. She was recognized as a Global Management Talent for her leadership excellence and her success in transforming business performance from financial losses to sustainable profitability.
Alongside her corporate career, she has been actively involved in teaching, training, and academic advising. She currently serves as an Advisory Board Member and Adjunct Lecturer at the UEH Institute of Innovation at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, where she teaches and advises on leadership, innovation, career development, and organizational
management. She has also provided strategic consulting and leadership training for small and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on developing leadership capabilities, succession planning, and organizational transformation.
She holds an Executive MBA in Finance & Banking from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting and Auditing from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.
With multidisciplinary and multicultural experience, Dr. Kim Cư is particularly passionate about developing next-generation leadership, strengthening family business governance, advancing leadership education, and building ecosystems for organizational development and international collaboration to enhance the global competitiveness of Vietnamese family businesses. She believes that family businesses are not only important economic drivers but also essential stewards of cultural values, social responsibility, and the nation’s sustainable development.
