Dr. Phm Thị Trúc Ly began her teaching career at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in 1998 after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Orléans, France, under the AUPELF-UREF scholarship program. She obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Trade from the Franco-Vietnamese Center for Management Training in 2007. She is currently in the final stage of completing her doctoral research in Trade at UEH.
Starting from academic research projects during her studies, her main teaching and research interests focus on Retail Trade and Marketing. Together with her colleagues, she has participated in research projects and co-authored several domestic and international research papers and academic conference proceedings.
In addition to teaching and research activities, she co-authored the textbook “Business Communication” with Associate Professor Dr. Hà Nam Khánh Giao. She also participated as a member of the translation team of the Faculty of International Business – Marketing in translating several textbooks published by McGraw-Hill for UEH’s advanced international training programs, including Operations and Supply Chain Management (Jacob & Chase, 2013, 14th Global Edition), International Marketing (Cateora, Gilly & Graham, 2015, 16th Global Edition), and Management Science (Hillier & Hillier, 2013, 5th Edition).
She is recognized as a dynamic lecturer in the Trade program of the Faculty of International Business – Marketing. With the philosophy of continuously improving knowledge, respecting learners, and helping students gain practical exposure, she is committed to lifelong learning and actively supports students in their academic studies as well as club and team-based academic activities. She has also been involved in developing training programs for manufacturing, retail, and service enterprises in Vietnam.
