Hoang Cuu Long

Dr. Hoang Cuu Long is currently the Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Business – Marketing (IBM), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). In addition, he serves as Head of the Professional Competency Development Division under the faculty. He has worked at UEH for more than 13 years. Prior to joining UEH, he held positions as Marketing Director or Senior Consultant at various domestic and international corporations, including O&M Group, AB Bank, Phuong Nam Group, and Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, among others.

Dr. Hoang Cuu Long is a member of the Vietnam Marketing Association (VMA). He also maintains close professional relationships with government organizations such as the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the Faculty of International Business – Marketing, he teaches a wide range of courses, including International Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Global Strategic Management, and Soft Skills. In addition, he is well known as a senior lecturer in advanced executive training programs such as CEO, CFO, and SMD programs organized by UEH and other institutions.

In terms of research, Dr. Hoang Cuu Long has published more than 10 academic articles in the fields of business administration and marketing. His works have appeared in SCOPUS-indexed journals, international academic journals, as well as leading business journals in Vietnam. Besides teaching and research, he has also participated in the publication of several marketing textbooks for undergraduate and master’s programs. He frequently serves as a keynote speaker at academic conferences both domestically and internationally.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing awarded by UEH, as well as an MBA degree from James Cook University (Australia).
